The way for women

The way on how to lose belly fat for women is somehow different due to the cause on why they got it.  Yes common factors that cause concerns are our intake of fast food products and alcohol. For women however, hormones play a big role. Hormonal imbalances lead to depression, overeating, lack of motivation and other problems that can correlate to weight gain and belly fat in general.

The thing to conquer this is through doing some activities that avoids hormonal imbalances this rotates to three factors: Diet, exercise and rest.

Diet

When you eat too much calories, specifically fat, you get a lot more chances of having hormonal imbalances. You should know that you can avoid this by eating alternative food items. These are your fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins and better fat source, yes basically healthy food items. These food items contain good content and most of these, like what we have in bananas, give you serotonin or a “happy” hormone that may ward off depression and stress. Starvation And Binge Eating – Weight Loss Methods to Stay Away From

Posted by in Weight Loss | Comments Off

When it comes to losing weight, there is a wealth of available information both online and offline. This is a double edge sword because lot of the information is less than truthful, and following some of the advice can in fact harm you.

Because for most people it’s hard to stick with a diet and exercise, it is important to prepare your mind first. In order to stay on the right course, you need to be motivated. The best kind of motivation comes from within, but even outside motivation, such as pressure from the society or loved ones can work. Be careful, however, because outside pressure often results in people using dangerous diet methods.

Unfortunately, many people fall into a trap of thinking, that starving themselves will speed up the whole process, or that it will compensate for deviating from the plan. Often times they – especially those who do not like physical activities – choose to compensate for it by cutting the food intake drastically. That’s not going to work though.

Not only such self-imposed starvation is bad for you, even if you stick to it, the resulting weight loss will be far from optimal. And you will quickly gain the weight back once you return to regular eating. Without proper nutrition and exercising, lot of the weight loss will come from muscle tissue, making you look, well, like you are starving to death. But that’s not what you want. What you are after is a lean body, not an anorexic one, right?

On the other end from starvation is binge eating. People who use this technique believe, that they can eat as much as they want, as long as they throw up the food immediately after consuming it. Ultimately, the results are the same as with starvation, plus whole lot of other health risks ensue, such as developing ulcers, damaging internal organs from constant vomiting, increasing stomach acid levels and many more. And once again, although the body weight will certainly decrease, the visual appeal will be non existent.

You have to realize, that it takes time and considerable effort to lose weight. Expecting to lose weight while you eat what you please, as much as you please, while watching TV is just not going to happen. Starving yourself is not going to work either. Your dream body is a result of a well balanced compromises.

For example – you don’t like jogging. Not a problem. Lift weights instead. Don’t like going to the gym? Just do it at home, there’s plenty of home gyms, such as Bowflex available. If you can’t afford it, then do something simple, like kettlebell workouts. Even if you just do one-or two simple exercises, it will be enough to give your weight loss plan the boost that is needed in order to see real results. And a set of used adjustable kettlebells will cost you only a few bucks.

The point is, you have to stop trying to find excuses, and find a compromise between your personal preferences and what needs to be done. And it all boils down to the right mind set. So spend some time figuring out what motivates you, and what motivation just fades away. That must be your first step, otherwise you are putting yourself into a risk of doing something too extreme, or quitting.
